Position Descriptions:

Vice President
Support the leadership of our neighborhood pool and prepare to step into the role of President next term. The VP works closely with the President, Board, and committees to help keep pool operations running smoothly.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting the President and stepping in when needed
Coordinating with committees and overseeing special projects
Helping manage membership processes, policies, and vendor relationships
Supporting events, communications, and member engagement
Participating in budgeting, planning, and strategic decision-making
This is a collaborative role with meaningful impact on pool operations and community experience. Ideal for someone organized, community-focused, and ready to grow into future leadership.
Treasurer
Help guide the financial health of our neighborhood pool—with the support of a Finance Committee.
The Treasurer oversees IPRA’s finances, including:
Managing payments, deposits, reimbursements, and bills
Tracking income/expenses in QuickBooks and preparing monthly reports
Creating invoices for memberships, parties, and sponsorships
Coordinating with the Membership Chair and President on budget and planning
Ensuring taxes and required filings are completed
Supporting payroll for lifeguards and coaches
The Finance Committee will assist with reconciliation, reporting, and financial strategy so the Treasurer is never working alone.
Experience with QuickBooks or similar financial tools is a plus, as well as any background in bookkeeping or nonprofit finance.

Member at Large – Indigo Park Recreation Association
A flexible, supportive role—great for someone with no prior board or pool experience. Members at Large represent the community and pitch in where needed.
Key responsibilities include:
Serving as a voting Board member
Attending meetings and representing member interests
Assisting with events, projects, and committee work
Supporting other Board members and pool operations
Providing input on policies, plans, and community needs
Helping with communication, outreach, and fundraising
Perfect for someone who wants to get involved, contribute ideas, and support the heart of our neighborhood pool—no experience required.
